The article presents a speech by U.S. President Barack Obama, "Realizing Just What We Have Here on Earth," delivered at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. on June 25, 2013 in which he talks about a national climate action plan which will reduce carbon pollution as well as stimulate the economy by building nuclear power plants and increasing production of natural gas. He also notes his interest in creating a new global agreement for reducing carbon emissions.
