Organización y rutinas del periodismo político en la prensa española de referencia.

This paper is part of a current research that seeks to determine the professional culture of the Spanish political journalism. In this text we approach the study of the work organization and professional routines present into the process of news production in the spanish quality press. Based on the in-depth interviews to the heads of political section of newspapers El País, El Mundo and Abc, we present an analytical description of the major trends that characterize the organization, internal operation and the decision making process. The knowledge of journalists' job allows us to understand the ways in which the press builds the policy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
