This paper focuses on the speech act of disagreement among speakers of political radio discussions. We examine on a corpus, based on nine radio discussions from the program Zur Diskussion from the radio broadcast Deutschlandfunk, how participants express the different shapings of disagreement. The paper attempts to establish a clasification of the pragmalinguisitc means through a qualitative analysis, as well as to analyse the differences in the formulation of disagreements between male and female participants.
