Biodiversity Online: Toward a Network Integrated Biocollections Alliance.

The author discusses the creation of online program through the Network Integrated Biocollections Alliance (NIBA) to incorporate technologies into data analysis, management and curation of biocollections in the U.S. It states that U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) established the Advancing Digitization of Biological Collections (ADBC) program and to provide $100 in 10 years time from 2010 that can help NIBA to deliver information on the several specimens included in the biocollections.
