Abstract
- The article presents the results of research investigating a possible correlation between teachers' social status and student learning outcomes, conducted by researchers from the University of Sussex, England and the University of Malaga, Spain. It addresses the benefits of improving teacher pay on academic achievement, strike action in Great Britain regarding teachers' salaries, and the perceived social status of British teachers.
