Indications for Pulmonary Valve Replacement in Repaired Tetralogy of Fallot.

The author comments on a study which examined the effect of age on biventricular response in patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) following pulmonary valve replacement (PVR) for right ventricular outflow tract dysfunction. The study is said to have confirmed that increases in age lead to increased frequency of the procedure. The author also describes proposed indications for recommending PVR for similar patients.
