Wind-Tunnel Investigation of a General-Aviation Differential Pressure Angle-of-Attack Probe.

The article examines the accuracy of the typical light general-aviation angle-of-attack system is measured using a wind-tunnel testing tool located in the open-circuit induction at the U.S. Naval Academy. A probe is placed on the bottom of the wing of a single-engine aircraft or on the underside of the nose of a twin-engine aircraft in order to test the angle-of-attack, pitch angle and yaw angle for dynamic pressure.
