Abstract
- A critique is presented of the religious aspects of poems by English poet Christina Rossetti, such as "Goblin Market," "The World," and "Where neither rust nor moth doth corrupt." Rossetti's interest in the Christian Oxford Movement, religious ritual, and critical reception of her devotional poetry are discussed, as well as her essay book "Time Flies."
