Abstract

Three novel bis(indole) alkaloids with an unprecedented skeleton have been isolated from a stony coral, Tubastraea sp. These indoles could biogenetically be derived from two molecules of aplysinopsin via a Diels–Alder reaction. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
