Abstract

Highlights: [•] Ti–10Mo alloy powder has been compressed by high velocity compaction technique. [•] Density of compacts depends on impact force per unit area of powder filled in die. [•] Maximum relative green density of the compacts was obtained 90.86% at 1615Nmm−2. [•] Spring back of compacts decreases with the increment of impact force. [•] Impact force per unit area affects the mechanical properties of the compacts. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
