Abstract
- The article discusses the system for student's examinations in the U.S. It examines the standardized exam called the DC Comprehensive Assessment System (DC CAS) which is made up of multiple-choice questions. It discusses the No Child Left Behind Act of 2011 (NCLB) which was signed by former president George W. Bush. Also discussed is the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) which focuses on federal funding of poor schools with low achieving students.
