Abstract
- Presents evidence that indicates that both major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-linked transporter genes, (Ham-1 and Ham-2) are probably required for class I antigen processing, and that the functional transporter in this pathway may consist ofa Ham-1/Ham-2 heterodimer. Conclusion that the Ham-2 gene completely restores the ability of RMA-S (a mutant murine cell line) to process and present antigen to class-I-restricted T-cells.
