Abstract
- Discusses the Senate overwhelming approval on March 10, 1992 of a bill (S 792, S Rept 102-201) that would reauthorize for three years programs aimed at reducing radon contamination. The authorization of $19.5 million annually for fiscal 1993-95 for programs established by the 1988 Indoor Radon Abatement Act (PL 100-551); Creation of regional centers to inform the public on the dangers of radon; The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) radon control standards for construction.
