Abstract

The article refutes mass media in the U.S. for its conspicuous display of biased support of the Democratic Party to the detriment of the Republicans. It should be noted that it is only the Republicans which media used in ideological terms; identifying it in the "far right." And its speakers are lampooned as purveyors of "hate," "divisiveness," and "right-wing." And in their utter disregard of journalistic ethics, reporters are hyping issues that are supposedly damning to the Republicans. Such innuendos, is much more blatant in the issue of homosexuality, as if one is homophobic when alternative views are put forward.
