- Investigates the asymptotic behaviors of solutions for (IBVP) compressible viscous gas, which are related to those for the corresponding Cauchy problem and hence the corresponding Reimann problem. Overview of the boundary and initial conditions; Discussion on the convergence to the 2-rarefaction wave; Explanation for the convergence to the 2-viscous shock wave.
