Solving word problems algebraically in a spreadsheet environment in a primary school.

The article discusses research on the use of spreadsheets to enhance primary school study of the algebraic solving of word problems (ASWP). It is said that spreadsheet method (SM) goes beyond a trial-and-error method or a paper and pencil method, preparing sixth grade students for learning algebraic language.
