Abstract
- The article presents a study that determines the primary biomechanical function of the isolated posteromedial bundle, anterolateral bundle, and the intact posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) between 0° and 120°of knee flexion. The study explores the role of PCL's functional bundles through the full range of knee flexion. It suggests a codominant relationship between the two bundles based on their ability to resist posterior tibial translation.
