Developing criminal justice liaison and diversion services: Research priorities and international learning.

The article discusses the development of criminal liaison and diversion services in many countries since the 1990s. The expansion of the services in the form of mental health courts in the U.S. are examined. Particular focus is given to the development at a time when the number of people in prisons has been increasing worldwide.
