Abstract

Highlights: [•] Shoot regeneration occurred during dark condition. [•] TDZ did not cause hyperhydricity in regenerated plantlets. [•] The best shoot regeneration rate (64%) from callus was observed on medium containing 16μM TDZ. [•] Regenerated shoots and donor shoots were identical with respect to the ploidy level. [•] We reported a simple protocol for indirect regeneration of some pear cultivars. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
