Abstract
- The article discusses the Great Mathematician Project (GMP), an initiative designed to accommodate the special learning needs of gifted and talented students about mathematics. The project's purpose directly addresses the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Equity Principle (NCTM 2000), and is based on the Autonomous Learner (AL) model developed by George Betts. It also describes the seven stages of the GMP.
