In this article the author explores how the U.S. and Canada can improve relations. She argues that the U.S. government should consider strengthening its free-trade deal with Canada and discusses the elimination of the U.S.-Canada border, the economic advantages for both countries of a cross-border partnership, and political obstacles to a U.S.-Canada partnership.
