Abstract

The article presents a speech titled "Privacy, Technology and National Security" by Robert S. Litt, General Counsel of the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, delivered at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. on July 19, 2013. Topics of the speech include the U.S. Intelligence law and regulation, classified information disclosure, the right to privacy and digital technology, and national security.
