Abstract

Highlights: [•] We evaluate the effectiveness of decontamination using the GIS in Fukushima. [•] Decontamination is a certain efficacy in terms of the external exposure reduction. [•] However, it is estimated 13–55% area is above 100mSv/30years after decontamination. [•] Forest decontamination was not effective in the view of reduction external exposure. [•] External exposure conversion coefficient is the most important parameter. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
