Abstract

The article focuses on a study that was conducted to analyse the effectiveness of Catalases CAT1 and CAT3 in protecting gamma irradiation-induced damage of Arabidopsis thaliana plant. It mentions the procedure where Rosette leaves were exposed to gamma rays and the Catalase activities were measured with the help of comet assay. The result showed the inefficiency of CATl and CAT3 in providing the damage protection.
