Abstract

During investigation of business relationships the notion of trust is also included which originally was a research topic of social psychology and sociology. In this paper the author deals with factors that determine trust in business relationships. That's why Hungarian organizations (mainly companies) were asked using quantitative methodology. This empirical survey endeavours to collect possibly each building element of trust. The interviewed persons focused either on one of their buyers or one of their suppliers and related each question to this chosen relationship with regard of asset specificity, information sharing, replaceability, partner's reputation, and perceived conflict. The data show us that none of the factors has dominant role but the investigated factors develop together the concrete level of trust. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
