Abstract

The article focuses on a study on the measurements of bottom currents in underwater channels of the Atlantic during Cruise 36 of the Russian research vessel Akademik Sergey Vavilov. It states that the Conductivity–Temperature–Depth profiling of the Vema Channel, Romanche Fracture Zone and Kane Gap of the Antarctic Bottom Water, was performed using an SBE-19 (by Sea-Bird Electronics Inc.) profiler. It reports that the profiling revealed different orographic forms of the bottom topography.
