Abstract

The article focuses on a study on the cryopreservation of primary human precursor T-acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) cells through the use of standard techniques. It states the application of xenotransplantation in determining and characterizing human acute leukaemia cells that have leukemia-initiating stem cell (LSC) potential. Result shows that the transplantation of 10 fresh T-ALL cells led to robust xenoengraftment in each of three recipients.
