One-pot Sequential Reaction for the Synthesis of Polysubstituted 3-(3-Nitro-2-phenylchroman-4-yl)-3-arylaminoacrylates.

The one-pot sequential reaction of arylamines, methyl propiolate and 2-aryl-3-nitrochromenes without any catalyst in refluxing ethanol afforded the polysubstituted 3-(3-nitro-2-phenylchroman-4-yl)-3-arylaminoacrylates in good yields and with high diastereoselectivity.
