Abstract
- The article discusses tax credits and other tax incentives received from the state of Connecticut by the ESPN sports cable-television network. The publication estimates that over a 12-year period tax benefits provided to ESPN have totaled close to $260 million. Governor Dannel P. Malloy, who says ESPN attracts media jobs to the state, has been a strong supporter of the company.
