Abstract

This paper describes a failure scenario in the known self-stabilizing algorithm for knot detection in directed graphs, occurring due to incorrect computation of certain variables. A modified algorithm is proposed, which overcomes the shortcomings of the known algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
