Abstract
- A new method for the synthesis of chromenochromenes (III) is developed based on the cycloaddition of o-quinone methides, generated in situ from phenolic Mannich bases (I), to 2-aminochromene-3-carbonitrile intermediates derived from Mannich bases (I) and malononitrile. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
