Abstract
- The article discusses how political and social changes in Eastern Europe have impacted the journal since it was founded. The editors explore how the end of the Cold War changed former communist European states, discuss the revolutions in the region between 1989 and 1991, and explain that they will be adding the term and topic of "cultures" to the publication.
