Abstract
- Reports that a federal bankruptcy judge ruled invalid a claim of more than $92 million against the Mirror Group Newspapers PLC of London, one remnant of Robert Maxwell's overseas corporate empire that owned `The Daily News' of New York when it was controlled by Maxwell. Other claims also eliminated; Claim that Maxwell used the paper as a `money-laundering device'; Effect of the decision on about 1,800 creditors.
