- Compares the effectiveness of the anxiolytics Diazemuls and Midazolam as premedication agents for fiberoptic bronchoscopy in elderly patients. Outcome measures; Reaction of older patients to the procedure; Gender differences in reaction; Basal oxygen saturation and age; Amnesic effects of both drugs; Need for supplemental oxygen with both drugs.
