Abstract

Evaluates the short-term effects of a 3-chloroaniline (CA) shock load and bioaugmentation with a 3-CA-degrading inoculant on reactor functions. Use of denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis, FISH and real-time PCR in examining the changes in the structure, abundance and activity of the nitrifying community; Sequences of the primers and probes used in the study.
