New International Fibromyalgia Guidelines Indicate Shifting Focus.

A conference paper about national fibromyalgia guidelines developed by multispecialty panels in Canada, Israel and Germany discussed at the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology is presented. Topics discussed include recommendations regarding the treatment of fibromyalgia, nonpharmacologic therapies and self management strategies such as aerobic exercise, cognitive behavioral therapy and psychologic therapies. It mentions complementary and altemativemedicine (CAM) practice.
