Abstract
- The article reports on Mercer University's acquisition and dedication of a Giuseppe Englert Memorial Organ for the organ teaching studio in McCorkle Hall, Townsend School of Music. It discusses the history of the organ, its restoration by French organ builder Robert Martin and its inauguration in April 2013. The organ is considered an example of neo-Classical organ building from the shop of Victor Gonzalez.
