Abstract

Highlights: [•] Two novel d10 metal polymers based on tetrazole-1-acetic acid ligand were obtained. [•] The flexibilities of 1-tza ligand result in 1-D helical chain of the two complexes. [•] Photoluminescence studies show that the two complexes exhibit strong luminescence. [•] The Zn(II) tetrazolate-1-acetic acid complex, [Zn(1-tza)(Cl)(H2O)] (1), displays nonlinear optical effect.
