Abstract
- The article presents a cohort study which examined if patellar and trochlear defects of the knee actually represent various clinical conditions with different healing potentials following cartilage treatment. In the study, 49 patients with full-thickness patellofemoral chondral lesions of the knee were treated with matrix-assisted autologous chondrocyte transplantation (MACT). The results were analyzed using such methods as International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) subjective.
