Abstract
- The article presents a study which examined the effects of neck muscle strength and anticipatory cervical muscle activation on the kinematic response of the head to impulsive loads. In the study, multivariate linear mixed models were utilized. Based on the results, neck strength and impact anticipation are potentially modifiable risk factors for concussion.
