Abstract: The article presents a study which determined the yearly rate of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in New York in the past 20 years as of March 2014. It also examines the age distribution for ACL reconstruction, as well as the effects of patient demographic and socioeconomic factors in ACL reconstruction. In the study, data from the Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System (SPARCS) database were used.
