Abstract: The author discusses the danger posed by modern progressive liberalism to the American idea represented by its Constitution. This combines both the devaluing of ambition and entrepreneurship and promotes envy and class resentment. It is said that greed may be a public benefit because it incentivized industry and prosperity that benefited everyone.
