Abstract

Highlights: [•] Jujube, a drought tolerant plant which was seldom studied, was used as material. [•] Water-use strategy of rainfed jujube characterized by dry climate was researched. [•] Relative sap flow (SF R ), rather than absolute sap flow (SF) was used. [•] The changing process of SF R in a day contains two different periods. [•] Soil water content mainly influence the first period of SF R changing process. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
