Abstract
- Highlights: [•] The present situation of declining seagrasses may be exacerbated by global change drivers. [•] We projected seagrass distribution coupling habitat suitability and hydrographical models. [•] Increasing seawater temperatures will trigger a poleward shift of Z. noltii habitat suitability. [•] The loss of southernmost populations due to climate change may imply future conservation problems. [•] SLR will increase Z. noltii suitable area in meso-macrotidal estuaries up to artificial limits. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
