Elections, Ethnic Parties and the Salience of Ethnic Identity: Evidence from the Baltic States, 1993-2008.

The article presents the author's views on the attachment of people with their ethnicity. Various factors that changes real identity of community people including modernization, political institutions, economic disparity, manipulation of political leaders and international systems. Various other arguments related to empirical analysis that are discussed includes statistical analysis of the electoral proximity, survey data analysis and robustness of democracies which is based on mobilization.
