The Puzzle of Single Currency (Non) Adoption in the New Member States.

A conference paper about the challenges of integration of the new member states (NMS) in the single market and the single currency in the European Union (EU), is presented which is prepared for presentation at the American Political Science Association Conference, in Toronto, Ontario, on September 2-6, 2009. The paper discusses topics including the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and the state of real economic convergence between the NMS from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the EU.
