- Highlights: [•] The multiaxial elastic–plastic stress–strain model for notched components is developed. [•] The model is used for elastic–plastic stress–strain analysis based linear-elastic FE results. [•] The model is validated against the experimental data of SAE 1070 steel notched bar.
