Abstract: The article reports that on March 20, 2014 Great Britain's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) fined Mark Stevenson, a former trader for banking company Credit Suisse AG, $1.1 million for having allegedly tried to manipulate the market for British government bonds. The FCA charged that Stevenson tried to sell the Bank of England over one-billion British pounds worth of bonds after having driven their prices up through vigorous trading.
