- Describes the synthesis of the (1-->4)-linked `trehazoloid' analogous to trehazolin, an alpha,alpha-trehalase inhibitor. Synthesis of the trehazolin aminocyclitol portion; Competitive inhibition of yeast alpha-glucosidase by trehazoloid; Selectivity due to aglycon portion.
