Contractor fills in collapsed NATM shaft.

Reports that Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd. has begun filling in the railroad station tunnel's access shaft that collapsed under London, England's Heathrow International Airport. Preparation for leaving the New Austrian Tunneling Method; Heathrow Express Ltd.'s discussions with its contractor, consultants and insurance company before confirming its decision to use conventional cut-and-cover construction for the station.
